Cooking your ketchup is an amazing experience. And when it is your favorite hot balsamic ketchup in the Miami style, then it's time to put on your toque blanche. Balsamic vinegar is a dark, and intensely flavored vinegar prepared from grape must. Here is the list of ingredients required to make your own organic Hot Balsamic Ketchup Olive oil - 2tbs. Chopped onion - 1 medium size Minced garlic - 1 clove Tomato puree - 1-28 oz. Brown sugar - 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar - 1/4 cup Tomato paste - 1 Tbs. Kosher salt - 1/2 tsp. Ground mustard - 1/2 tsp. Ground cloves - 1/8 tsp. Allspice - 1/8 tsp. Cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp. Steps involved in Preparation Heat oil in a medium sauce pan, and saute the onion till it turns brown. Put in the garlic, and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Pour in the tomato puree, brown sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, salt, mustard, cloves, allspice, and cayenne pepper.
